Pregnancy Scans
Pregnancy scans are special ultrasound tests that help monitor the growth, position, and health of your baby inside the womb.
They provide valuable information about your baby’s development, placenta, and amniotic fluid throughout pregnancy.
Doppler Scan
A Doppler Scan is a special type of ultrasound test that measures blood flow in the body’s blood vessels — arteries and veins. It helps assess how well blood is circulating to various organs, including the heart, brain, kidneys, limbs, and the baby during pregnancy.
USG Lower Abdomen / Pelvis scan
A USG (Ultrasound) Lower Abdomen or Pelvis scan is a simple, safe imaging test that uses sound waves to create pictures of the organs in your lower abdomen and pelvic region.
It helps your doctor see structures such as the urinary bladder, uterus, ovaries, prostate, and other pelvic organs in real time.
USG Musculoskeletal / Joint Scan
A Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (MSK USG) is a specialized ultrasound scan that helps visualize muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and soft tissues in real time.
It is a painless, radiation-free test that helps diagnose injuries, inflammation, or degenerative changes in joints and soft tissues.
Sonomammogram (Breast Ultrasound)
A Sonomammogram, also known as a Breast Ultrasound, is a safe, painless imaging test used to examine the breast tissue.
It uses high-frequency sound waves (not radiation) to create real-time images of the breast and helps detect lumps, cysts, or other abnormalities.
USG-Guided Abscess Drainage / Catheter Placement
A USG-guided abscess drainage is a minimally invasive procedure done under ultrasound guidance to remove pus or infected fluid collected in any part of the body.
When continuous drainage is required, a catheter (thin flexible tube) is placed into the abscess cavity under ultrasound control to allow the pus to drain out over a few days.
Neonatal Brain Ultrasound
A USG Neonatal Brain, also called a Cranial Ultrasound, is a safe and painless test used to examine a baby’s brain using sound waves.
It helps doctors assess the brain’s structure, ventricles (fluid spaces), and blood flow in newborns — especially in premature or high-risk babies.
B-Scan Ultrasound
A B-Scan (Brightness Scan) is a specialized ultrasound test that provides detailed images of the internal structures of the eye and orbit (eye socket).
It is especially useful when the view of the retina or vitreous is blocked due to conditions like cataract, bleeding, or infection.
